The OBDX ECU reads the sensors, calculates the engineering units (-30 ˚C till 1372 ˚C ) and presents the data on your mobile phone or tablet via an OBD compatible tool (such as OBD Torque or OBD Fusion). The sensors are read every 200 ms. It is possible to use EGT9 stand alone or together with one or several OBDX units.
In addition to the 9 temperature values, the EGT9 system presents which sensor that measures the highest respective the lowest temperature and which temperature it is. It is possible to configure which sensors that shall be included in the max/min calculation.
It is also possible to configure the EGT9 unit to send the temperature data on CAN. Several different baud rates, periods, encoding, offset is supported. See the instruction document for more information (can be download on this site in PDF format)
